Deciding which DVS participation agreement to sign

Private sector organisations connect to the DVS in 3 main ways depending on how you use the DVS:

as a business user
as an identity service provider (IDSP)
as a gateway service provider (GSP).

Your organisation must sign a participation agreement with us that matches how you will use the DVS. This makes sure you are bound by the legal obligations and privacy safeguards necessary for you to use the DVS.

Your organisation can connect to the DVS in one or more of the ways above. For example, a GSP may have a GSP connection and a business user connection. However, you must sign a participation agreement for each type of use.

If you are a GSP, please note you can only access the DVS on behalf of your authorised users, and can only provide DVS results to your authorised users.
