Credential Protection Register Enhancements Project Stage 1 – Privacy Impact Assessment

The Attorney-General’s Department commissioned this privacy impact assessment for Stage 1 enhancements to the Credential Protection Register (CPR). Stage 1 introduces a web-portal for the relevant document issuers in an Australian, state or territory government agency to directly manage identity documents that they administer and/or issue on the CPR.
